A Complete Writing Solution for Grades 2-12

WriteBrain (Grades 2-12)

Does your current word processing program support student achievement by making them better writers? If it doesn’t, then you’re missing out on a great opportunity to teach your students all the steps of the writing process – brainstorming, organizing, drafting, editing, revising, and publishing, whenever they need to write.

There are many word processing programs that create professional looking content with unlimited utilities (templates, fonts, etc.) that can cause students to focus on presentation rather than the writing process. Which program would you want your students using in your media or learning resources lab? Do you want simple word processing software or integrated software that reinforces the principles of writing in all subject areas?

WriteBrain’s cross-curricular and flexible assignment capabilities are a great way to extend mastery of the writing process to all subjects. This technology allows reinforcement of the principles of strong writing to all students’ assignments, not just the assignments they complete in their language arts studies.

  • WriteBrain gives you an easy-to-use program to create your own writing assignments and writing prompts in all subject areas.
  • Write Brain provides a strong writing utility program that meets student’s basic writing presentation needs.
  • WriteBrain’s centralized system allows for an easier assessment and revision process between, students, peers, and teachers.

M-SS-NG L-NKS (Grades 3-8)

In this engrossing language puzzle, a passage appears with letters or words missing. Students fill in the blanks by making educated guesses building their knowledge of:

  • word structure and spelling
  • grammar and usage
  • word meaning in context
  • sense of literary style

As students make correct guesses, a picture slowly appears. Nine difficulty levels offer a variety of puzzle formats. Students select from four categories:

  • Literature: Passages from 13 award-winning books, such as Charlie and
    the Chocolate Factory, and
    Julie of the Wolves.
  • MicroEncyclopedia: Find fun facts
    about general topics, such as
    aviation or ice cream.
